Full disclosure – I married a Canadian.
If I talk with fondness and love for our friends in the north, it is because I have fondness and love to the extent of living in the same house with one of those foreigners! Therefore my extended, married into, family is also Canadian and I have a great heart for what is happening to that country as well as my own.

That is one reason I have been so vocal about some of the difficult things Canada has faced over the last couple years. From arresting pastors, to burning churches and now to truckers, farmers and regular folk standing up against the tyrannies of the government.

All the while, if you are watching the news, and I strongly suggest you stop that, these truckers and farmers and regular folk are being called racists, white supremacists, and interlopers.

While the videos that are actually coming out of the “protest” show people hugging, laughing, dancing, and even praying.

Jesus IS God!

Recently I received a comment that Jesus never claimed to be God and never asked to be worshipped. This one hit me sideways, because, clearly Jesus did claim to be God.

Many times.

Actually his claim to be God is why he was crucified by the Jews.

They were so upset by his claims to be God that they condemned him for heresy and gave him a death sentence.

Actually they tried to kill him numerous times.

Land of the Brave

“Land of the free and the home of the brave.”

What an iconic statement that we sing at every ball game and other special events. You place your hand over your heart or salute the flag and remember that this life is bigger than you. You thank those that have come before and sacrificed for your freedom and you lean into your responsibility to be brave in spite of obstacles put in your way.

However, now the current administration with the help of Woody from Toy Story, is telling you that you don’t need to live in the land of the free, you just live in the land of the brave. Freedom is not necessary here, just safety. And just be brave with the lockdowns and mandates, I mean, who needs freedom anyway?

The People Said Nothing

“How long will you waiver between two opinions?If the Lord id God, follow himBut if Baal is god, follow him….but the people said nothing.”

Today we look at a Bible story that is one of my favorites from the Old Testament. Sure David and Goliath is good and Jonah is incredible, but this story tells us something about how to live amongst a culture that doesn’t respect or honor God.

More than that, the culture surrounding Elijah was hostile and full of persecution. More subtly though, as we will see, this culture had let time wear down the very things that kept them focused on God.

I believe we can learn alot from this story, if we have ears to hear.

Mass Formation Psychosis is Real.

Do you notice some people around you are walking zombies that blindly follow whatever the “experts” say? 

Does it seem like no matter what science changes or what common sense or facts you say, it doesn’t matter and those indoctrinated just continue to suspend belief and follow blindly?

Does this sound like some sort of weird cult that people get trapped in and don’t even know they are in?

If any of these statements ring true, then you may be a conspiracy theorist, or to put it a different way, you may just be awake.

From all accounts, both in and out of news reports, and from personal anecdotal evidence, this weird phenomena IS happening all over America and all over the world. There are people who just seem to have been programmed to believe whatever it is they are told and they don’t seem to be able to differentiate fact from fiction.
