Christian School in Trouble for Teaching Christianity

A Christian Academy in Louisville Kentucky is in trouble for teaching Christian values straight from the Bible about sexuality and loving your neighbor.

The Disinformation board has been suspended for … disinformation.

And Happy belated Mother’s Day, especially to those churches singing to “mother god”

America’s New Religion

“When men stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing; they believe in anything.” GK Chesterton.

This observation by Chesterton, an English theologian at the turn of the 1900s, gives a great view of current culture. Denominational church has declined steadily and rapidly in the last years with more and more identifying as “Spiritual but not Religious.”

I started ChurchPublic to help people follow Jesus and engage in the Public Square. Today we are going to look at that square from a 30,000 foot view that shows what is going on with the culture at large in relation to religion and specifically, belief in the God of the Bible.

Billions Spent While Babies Starve

What is going on with the national formula crisis?

The government wants to send another 40 billion to Ukraine, meanwhile babies all over America are literally starving because of a nationwide formula shortage.

Also today we will check back in with the Supreme Court Intimidation Protests.

And a church is now apparently sponsored by Planned Parenthood?

Have Politics Poisoned the Church?

Have politics poisoned the church?

A new Atlantic article claims this is the case.

Are they right or is something more going on?

Two Ways to Deal with Polarization

I see the polarization of America speeding up day by day.

People cannot talk anymore.

And this is creating two opposite camps.

One camp ignores all the issues. I have heard many people say something like this, “I don’t want to know what is going on. It is just to frustrating or emotional, or scary, so I just ignore everything.”

The other camp engages but is overly aggressive. This person just wants to start an internet fight constantly.

Neither of these camps is good or healthy. We need to know what is happening in the world AND we need to maintain composure as we fulfill our purpose. This is a difficult task in light of the recent polarization, but it can be done.

What is a Christian is supposed to do in light of this cultural meltdown that we are a part of in real time. Whether you like it or not, you will be forced to take a position.

The time for sitting on the sidelines is coming to an end.

Here are two ways to deal with polarization as a Christian.

I am a Child of God, so…Abortion is Ok?

Biden said, ‘I believe the rights that I have, not because the government gave them to me, which you believe, but because I’m just a child of God, I exist.’

For once, I agree with Biden.
You are a child of God and you exist.
Therefore, based on the Bible, morality, and even biology, the conclusion should be, I don’t have a right to arbitrarily kill you.

Instead, Biden and the leftist death cult concludes that,
As a child of God, I deserve to murder you, if you are in the womb.
You are an alien in my body and baby, you are out of here.

If there was ever a more theocratic assertion, I’ve not heard it.

This is what Christians are constantly being accused of, but right here, Joe Biden is making this exact claim! Because these people exist and because they are already born, they can take the place of god and kill whomever they choose, including babies, whenever they want. 15 weeks, 24 weeks, 9 months, 7 days after birth in California. Killing the baby is the mother’s right; simply because the mother exists.

Because the mother is a child of god, they get to be god.

Well, I can say one thing for sure:
There is a God and you are not him.

The END of Roe v Wade?

Late Monday night a draft decision was leaked to the press and reported by Politico, a leftist media outlet.

This decision concerns the Supreme Court case Mississippi v Dobbs regarding 15 week abortion ban legislation passed in 2018.

The decision was written by Justice Samuel Alito with the effect of removing the precedent of Roe v Wade and the subsequent cases like Planned Parenthood v Casey.

Does this mean it is settled?

Hardly?

But is this decision real?

Probably?

Why did this come out now and not in an actual decision in several weeks?

One word – intimidation.

This leak, most certainly by a leftist law clerk, risking reputation and employment to let everyone know that this decision is forth coming and they need to intimidate the 5 justices that have signed on to it with every means necessary to avoid the ACTUAL decision that would be forthcoming.

Let’s get to some details and pray for peace and protection for the justices and of course the innocent baby lives that could be saved by this legistlation.
